Glass Ionomer

Glass ionomer cement (GIC) is a self-adhesive restorative material.  Chemically, it is a combination of fluoro-aluminosilicate glass powder and polyacrylic acid liquid. It is a versatile material and has a broad spectrum of uses in restorative and pediatric dentistry.

The glass Ionomer products are used as adhesives for attaching dental crowns, bridges and prostheses,  as restorative materials, and for lining and sealing.
