RelyX Unicem from 3M (now Solventum) was the first self-adhesive resin cement when it launched in 2002, and it remains a trusted choice for permanent cementation. Its self-adhesive chemistry gives high bond strength without separate etching, priming or bonding steps. That shortens the cementation procedure and removes several technique-sensitive stages.
RelyX Unicem has a very low risk of post-operative sensitivity, which helps keep patients comfortable after seating. The cement is strong and moisture tolerant, so it performs reliably in real clinical conditions. Its consistency is easy to work with, and excess cement comes away cleanly, which speeds up clean-up around the margins.
The shade shows little discolouration over time, so restorations keep their appearance long term. The Translucent shade blends naturally beneath the restoration, which makes it a versatile choice across a wide range of cases.
